What the Bible says about New Year 🎊 Faith
We all face “storms” in life. Some are more difficult than others, but we all go through trials and tribulation. This is why God gave us the gift of faith through his word the Bible.
Ephesians 6:16 (NIV) calls it the shield of faith, with which you can extinguish all the flaming arrows of the evil one.
Mark 13:18 And pray ye that your flight be not in the winter.
Winter seasons can relate to our spiritual vitality. In John 15, Jesus explained times of “pruning” for believers (Job 15:2). Assuredly, no one enjoys pruning. Jesus expressed that the same laws we see in nature apply to the spiritual. To be fruitful means there must be times of cutting back.
Build your Faith during the Winter Months by doing these 5 things.
“Therefore I tell you, do not worry about your life, what you will eat or drink; or about your body, what you will wear. Is not life more than food, and the body more than clothes? Look at the birds of the air; they do not sow or reap or store away in barns, and yet your heavenly Father feeds them. Are you not much more valuable than they? Can any one of you by worrying add a single hour to your life?
Matthew 6:25-27
The thief comes only to steal and kill and destroy; I have come that they may have life, and have it to the full.
John 10:10
You are the light💡 of the world🌎 , so shine bright my darling friend. We are to be loving and caring towards each other. We are to be encouraging, and build one another up. We should be joyful people, who don’t spend our days complaining.
We should practice thankfulness and be forgiving. Refer back to Mark 11:25, Jesus stated that when we pray we must not hold anything against anyone, but we are to forgive, so our Father can forgive us of our sins.
We must be giving of our time, our talents, and our treasures. When people see you, let them not only see a person that is a believer in God, but let them see a person that exercises great faith in their lives. Let them see a role model for a God first life, let your actions draw people closer to God.
In the same way, let your light shine before others, that they may see your good deeds and glorify your Father in heaven.
Matthew 5:16
Let us not become weary in doing good, for at the proper time we will reap a harvest if we do not give up.
Galatians 6:9
Therefore encourage one another and build each other up, just as in fact you are doing.
1 Thessalonians 5:11
“‘Do not seek revenge or bear a grudge against anyone among your people, but love your neighbor as yourself. I am the LORD.
Leviticus 19:18
Do everything without grumbling or arguing,
Philippians 2:14
Top the sweet potato cornbread with some butter for a savory comfort food twist. Allow the cornbread to cool on the counter for 10-15 minutes before cutting into it. 13. This was my first attempt at homemade cornbread, and to top it all off, adding a sweet potato into the mix made for a great turn out. I'm very full and happy with myself at this very moment. This is both dense and flaky with a little bit of moisture in it. I added some honey and cinnamon to increase the sweetness. 14.
Of course, everyone knows that if there's cornbread than there has got to be chili somewhere nearby. I hope you all enjoy this fun twist on a classic as it was fun to make.

It was Saint Patrick's Day, and the city was bustling with excitement. Sarah was getting ready to celebrate the day in her own special way. She had carefully planned her outfit, picked out some delicious food, and was eager to attend mass in honor of the patron saint of Ireland.
She donned a beautiful green dress, complete with shamrock earrings and a matching headband. Her husband, Tom, sported a green tie and a happy smile. Together, they made their way to the church, where they were greeted by the smell of traditional Irish fare.
After mass, Sarah and Tom made their way to the local Irish pub, where they enjoyed a hearty meal of corned beef and cabbage, shepherd's pie, and Irish soda bread. They clinked their glasses filled with green beer and toasted to good health, good luck, and good company.
As they walked back home, they stopped by the local bakery to pick up some shamrock-shaped sugar cookies for dessert. The sweet smell of the baked goods filled their noses, and they couldn't resist indulging in a few.
Back home, Sarah and Tom sat by the fire and enjoyed their cookies, savoring the sweet taste and the memories of the day. They talked about their plans for the future, their dreams, and their faith. They knew that Saint Patrick's Day wasn't just about the food and the fashion, but also about celebrating their faith and the rich heritage of their ancestors.
As they closed their eyes and drifted off to sleep, Sarah and Tom felt grateful for the blessings in their lives and for the opportunity to celebrate Saint Patrick's Day in their own special way. They knew that with faith, good food, and fashion, they could overcome any obstacle and enjoy life to the fullest.

It was the first day of spring, and the sun was shining bright in the clear blue sky. Sarah, a young woman with a passion for fashion and a deep faith in God, woke up with a spring in her step. She was excited to put away her winter clothes and break out her spring wardrobe.
After her morning prayers, Sarah headed to the kitchen to prepare a healthy breakfast. She whipped up a delicious smoothie bowl with fresh fruits, nuts, and seeds, and enjoyed it on her patio while soaking in the warm sunshine.
As she sipped on her smoothie, Sarah felt grateful for the new beginnings that spring brings. She thought about all the new opportunities and adventures that lay ahead.
Later that day, Sarah headed to the mall to do some spring shopping. She browsed the racks of colorful dresses, lightweight jackets, and trendy sandals. She found a beautiful floral dress that she knew would be perfect for the Easter service at her church.
As she walked around the mall, Sarah couldn't help but notice the excitement in the air. People were smiling, laughing, and enjoying the warmth of the sun. She felt a sense of community and joy that came with the changing of the seasons.
When Sarah got home, she spent some time reading her Bible and reflecting on her faith. She felt blessed to have a strong connection to God and to be surrounded by a community of believers who shared her values.
As the day came to a close, Sarah felt grateful for the beauty of springtime and the many blessings in her life. She knew that with faith, healthy food, and stylish fashion, she could tackle anything that came her way.

It was Easter Sunday, and the small town was buzzing with excitement. The sun shone brightly, and the birds chirped cheerfully, welcoming the day of renewal and rebirth. The air was filled with the sweet aroma of freshly baked bread and cakes, and the sound of hymns could be heard coming from the church.
The town was abuzz with preparations for the Easter feast. People dressed in their finest outfits, eager to show off their new Easter clothes. From the little girls in their frilly dresses to the boys in their smart suits, everyone was dressed to impress.
Mrs. Williams, the town's renowned chef, had been busy for days preparing the traditional Easter meal. She had made a succulent roasted lamb, creamy mashed potatoes, and buttered green beans, which would be served with warm rolls and a luscious chocolate cake for dessert.
As the clock struck noon, the church bells rang out, signaling the start of the Easter service. Families poured into the church, filling the pews with smiling faces and joyful hearts. The service was a celebration of faith, and the choir sang hymns of praise, filling the church with their melodious voices.
After the service, the townsfolk made their way to the town hall, where tables had been laid out with the feast prepared by Mrs. Williams. People eagerly filled their plates, savoring the flavors of the traditional Easter fare.
As they ate, they talked and laughed, catching up on news and sharing stories of their lives. The children played happily outside, running around in their Easter outfits and chasing each other.
In this small town, Easter Sunday was a day of faith, food, and fashion, a day to celebrate the resurrection of Christ, to share a meal with loved ones, and to dress up in their finest attire. And as the day drew to a close, the people of the town felt blessed, grateful for the gifts of life and love that Easter had brought to them.

In this small town, the memorial festival was also a time to show love and respect for the soldiers who had served their country. The town had a long history of military service, with many of its sons and daughters having fought in wars and conflicts around the world.
During the memorial service, the pastor paid tribute to the fallen soldiers, reminding the congregation of the sacrifices they had made to protect their country and their fellow citizens. The names of the local soldiers who had died in service were read aloud, and a moment of silence was observed in their honor.
Throughout the festival, there were also special events dedicated to the soldiers. The local American Legion set up a booth where visitors could learn about the history of the military and talk to veterans about their experiences. There was a parade to honor the soldiers, with the town's youth groups and marching bands joining in to show their support.
The fashion show also had a special segment dedicated to military fashion, showcasing the latest styles worn by soldiers throughout history. And of course, there was no shortage of patriotic decorations and symbols throughout the festival, from the American flag to the yellow ribbons tied around trees in honor of soldiers serving overseas.
For the people of this town, the memorial festival was a time to celebrate their faith, their history, and their culture. But it was also a time to remember the soldiers who had served their country with honor and distinction, and to show their gratitude for their sacrifice. It was a powerful reminder of the love and respect that Americans have for those who serve in the military, and of the deep bonds that connect us all as a community and a nation.
